Today, my long awaited text book didn't show up. Instead, an envelope that read the following

unsealed check

without contents check

in damaged condition check

The post office explained that maybe the book I ordered came out in a machine and I would have to come fill out a form describing the contents so they can find it for me sometime. 

My professor loaned me a copy of the text. It's a $200 book. I ordered a slightly older version for $30... 

I am listening to rap music right now and I am trying to decide if it is mind-numbing because I really can't think of anything to write... one sec, I'll turn it off:

Ok, so the professor told us last class, that we should practice our breathing before taking tests because some people struggle with being nervous. I used to get that kind of thing from acting classes and singing lessons and stuff, so it is interesting how universally applicable that is. 

It's funny though because whenever someone talks about it, it sounds hokey and new agey, like you shouldn't put so much thought(meditation) into something that isn't like prayer or something... 

Took a bunch of photos this weekend... learned a lot. Definitely did better than the previous wedding, but I learned a couple things the hard way too. Good times.

I've been kinda sick for the past 10 days, but today has been pretty good... I worked out a little and got some decent sleep....
