"the brick"
Today is the day-before-the-weekend-for-snowboarding at the closest ski resort around for the first time. There was a part of me that feared that it was a pride issue that I only go to "big mountains" in New Hampshire and Vermont. Really though, big mountains are just better. The runs are longer. But my pride, and high standards aside, I am excited to be going. It's only $25 dollars and some very cool people are coming (if they're reading this, "cool" is an acceptable word that covers a lot of different complex characteristics and I don't mean to brush over them).
Today, I actually warmed up before posting this blog by writing a long journal entry that probably I'll forget about immediately for a couple years. It's good to put stuff on 'paper' or in this case in a folder on my hard drive.
I'm listening to Jessica Jay. It turns out according to internet forums, she may not be a real person but a conglomerate of vocalists which over a period of time took on the role of this record company creation. She's singing a song called Casablanca. It's about the movie and has a very European beat that sounds like Ace of Bass. Apparently it was a very popular dance piece in Moldova like 12 years ago. I know this just because.
Oh, back to skiing for a second: I was thinking about trying to see how fast I can snowboard, and I found some one online who used a GPS.... I totally wanna try that tomorrow. I think I've gone 50 mph before.... ya if that works out, I'll post something about it.
I threw a snowball at Ian's room window today. Nothing came of it and it took four tries.
