Holding Oranges

Music I don't listen to but should: Yoyo Ma, The Police, The Afters, Mae, Travelling Wilburys, KLove, Rich Mullins, any other music with a dulcimer except Andrew Peterson cuz I do listen to him, Aterciopelados, Weird Al.... maybe, Kevin Max, Charlie Hall.... I do listen to Tori Amos, but not enough.... Wallflowers, Portishead, Weezer, young Michael Jackson, Larry Norman, The Carters, Dennis Culp, and I really would like to get some more tracks from the Newark Balkan Chorus.

Maybe some of these don't really belong under the "should" listen to category....

Today at the mall, I got hustled by the Chinese chicken lady. She could see me a mile away, and I wasn't even hungry. $7 later, I sat down in frustration to my delectable dish of stringy noodles and not-so-fresh crab rangoon and chicken. I finished it in good company, but in the distance I could hear the Chinese chicken lady earning her wings, and I cringed slightly.

Tomorrow, you will find me at the Providence Church fetching things for Serg's dad. Not trying to be cynical... I have some dry-walling experience, so maybe I'll get to have some creative input! The congregation there has been working very hard to really clean up the new building, and tonight during choir practice, I was asked to help.

I wanted to swim laps tomorrow before going to the church, but I'm not sure I'll be able to get up...
